Tamar is CEO of O.C. Firearms Academy and Doheny Security Services. She has been a Reserve Deputy with L.A. County Sheriff's Department since 2010. Tamar is an active Executive Protection agent and Risk Management Consultant. She holds an M.A. in History with a specialization in Latin American affairs from Cal State University, Northridge.

Kerri Derwin is the Operations Manager at OC Firearms Academy and the Responsible Managing Officer at Doheny Security Services. Having been with the company for over 12 years, her expertise lies in training Security personnel and is a licensed Live Scan fingerprinting operator. Want to take any class with OC Firearms Academy? Nine years US Marine Corps. Sergeant. NRA Basic Pistol Instructor working with both our CCW clientele and our primary presenter for our Basic Firearms introductory courses.

Rick is a retired Police Sergeant with almost 20 years law enforcement experience. He was the Sniper Team Leader on their department SWAT Team. He also has over 32-years experience carrying CCW. Rick is an NRA Certified Firearms Instructor, CA DOJ Certified Firearms Instructor, Certified BSIS Firearms Instructor and CCW Certification Course Instructor. Rick also works as one of our instructors during our Shoot Nights.

Richard Allum co-founded OC Firearms Academy with Dave Andersen. Richard (Retired Police Sergeant) brought along 32 years of Law Enforcement experience with expertise in training, mentoring, and student development. He has a BA degree in Business Management from Vanguard University. He served as an Interim Police Academy Coordinator and was an Associate Professor in Criminal Justice teaching P.O.S.T. courses in Powers to Arrest (832 PC), Police Dispatch Course, the Regular Basic Academy and Specialized Basic Investigators Course.
